About the Work

ACTIF trade publication ad - I first scanned a pencil and a legal pad with the pencil writing and brought them into Photoshop applied noise and shadows to give the art texture and three dimension. Then I had someone in the office write the copy on a blank yellow piece of paper, scanned it and brought into Photoshop. Reset the proportions and used the vector shape tool to create the effect of a Post-it note pad. Finally enhanced all hand writing with a brush to make the text more clear and imported a stock logo from the archives.

ACTIF concept - Combined a stock photo of a thunder storm and a group of people under umbrellas. Then with the quick mask tool I selected the umbrellas to re-color red and yellow and applied the color fills to a new layer and set the blending option to overlay. The whole image was then imported in to Illustrator for the text to be added.

Southwest Spirit - Stock photo of a blank clock face was combined with the company's logo and a green 2 hour segment in Photoshop. The image was then imported in to Illustrator for the green and blue vector graphics and the text content.

Multimedia Brochure - Stock images were re-sized in Photoshop then imported in to Illustrator where all the text, background graphics and, logos were added.

Sailing - Layered freehand drawing in Illustrator.

Travel Agent Magazine - Stock image of two mountain climbers were brought into Photoshop duplicate layer was made and solarize filter applied. Saturation and contrast adjustments were made for the final effect. The portrait was vignetted in. The image of a plasma sphere with adjustments to hue, contrast and saturation was added as an overlay. The logo was added as a separate layer to the spark and blended down to 30%. Finally the text was added and a full cooperate logo were added as separate layers.
