The Digital Darkroom
More and more photographers are expanding
their creative horizons through the use
of the Digital Darkroom. The digital darkroom
is any enhancement performed on an image
weather the image was captured on film
or in a digital camera. For some strange
reason, many artists consider the technique
of using Photoshop
or other computer enhancements as "cheating"
whereas altering the negative in the dark
room as just a part of the creative process.
Clyde
Butcher, Florida's preeminent landscape
photographer,
scans many of his large format negatives into
his computer and does what would take days
in
the darkroom in a few hours in the computer.

Gallery Show at The Weedon Island Preserve, Pinellas
County, Florida
Through the months of September and October. The
Florida Photography Group will conduct a juried show
titled "Florida's Lands, Heretage, and Inhabitants
att the Weedon Island Preserve Gallery located at

of fine art photography including several of my
